Description:

  • The Technical Writer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and revising SAP (S4/HANA) training content. This includes, but is not limited to, documentation (such as operating procedures and work instructions), OJT and ILT training materials, and visual aids. The role will support various functions, including Manufacturing, Quality, Automation, Facilities & Engineering, and others as needed.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with subject matter experts within the network to create/ edit/ maintain documents required for readiness activities
  • Create and edit content at all levels of complexity to adhere to current formats and templates, occasionally using the Veeva QualityDocs system
  • Ensure content follows all site standards such as formatting, organization, terminology, etc.
  • Review content provided by others for compliance with GDP (Good Documentation Practices).
  • Track progress to ensure on-time completion to meet site timelines
  • Solve complex technical writing, editing, document issues following cGMP regulations and Genentech/Roche standards as required
  • Ability to write technical documents and training, with attention to detail and consistency, especially with respect to style, format, and layout for visual design simplicity
  • Work flexibly to support changing assignments and priorities in an independent and reliable manner, including under tight deadlines.
  • Strong work ethic, drive to complete tasks on time while never compromising safety or quality, dependability/reliability, and excellent communication skills.
  • Previous experience with creating and updating documents in a technical or regulatory environment, and experience with SAP (S4/HANA) is required.
  • Instructional design experience is preferred (can keep or include pharma biotech caveat as well).
  • Advanced word processing proficiency is required, along with a broad range of technical skills, including advanced use of Google Software. Knowledge of document management systems (Veeva QualityDocs), quality systems (Veeva OneQMS), and collaboration systems (SmartSheets, Trello) is beneficial.


Education:

  • BA or BS (or equivalent) in English, biology, chemistry, pharmacy, engineering or equivalent experience

 

This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $42.04/hour-$56.05/hour
