Summary:

We are seeking an Atlassian Platform Operations Lead to drive the strategy, governance, and optimization of our Genentech Atlassian ecosystem (Jira Service Management, Jira Software, Jira Work Management, and Confluence). This role will be responsible for managing and enhancing the platform’s capabilities, ensuring alignment with business and service team needs, and fostering adoption across teams.

Key Responsibilities:
Platform Strategy & Roadmap

As directed by the Digital Operations Lead, provide oversight and support for Genentech Atlassian platform implementation and roadmap, aligning with business objectives, stakeholder needs, and broader Roche USIX enterprise strategy.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration across teams to ensure strategic alignment with business objectives.
- Identify opportunities for automation, scalability, and optimization for Atlassian systems and across Jira/JSM projects
- Enable enterprise level data management & unified reporting within our Atlassian solutions to track business and operational related metrics (ie Time in Project Phase, Time Saved, Volume Output, Resource Capacity, etc.)

Platform Operations & Governance
-Oversee the administration, configuration, and governance of Atlassian tools ensuring compliance and platform best practices.
-Align processes, workflows, data management, and documentation to enhance efficiency across teams.
-Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders engaging with Isos, our Atlassian administrator of managed and professional services, and leveraging the Genentech Atlassian instance.
-Develop and maintain audit framework, dashboards and reports to track operational efficiency, license usage, and platform metrics.
-Support and enable the Atlassian Governance Committee.

Process Optimization & Change Management
-Define and maintain training and onboarding needs to drive adoption of Atlassian tools and processes.
-Identify opportunities for operational efficiency including the use of automations, standardization, and new capabilities like Assets, Integrations, Add-ons, etc.
-Oversight of vendors in creation and maintenance of documentation and knowledge base to support self-service capabilities for users.

Key Qualifications:
-Strong knowledge of cloud based, enterprise, company managed Atlassian products (Jira Service Management, Jira, Confluence, Jira Product Discovery, etc.).
-Deep proficiency with gSheets, JQL, and Atlassian dashboards/filters.
-Strong understanding and ability to provide oversight of administrators across Atlassian products including user management, project configuration, workflow customization, integration and add-on implementation, system maintenance, etc.
-Strong workflow and automation expertise to enable optimal user experiences and most efficient and scalable implementations.
-Experience in business operations, platform operations, and product ownership roles.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder and vendor management skills.
-Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and skill sets.
-Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
-Proactively drives clarity and alignment across stakeholders.
-Nice to have: Experience with Genentech/Roche organization or Life Science/Biotech

This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $70.00/hour-$87.00/hour
