This role is based in the Delivery NPC & CGM Team which is dedicated to executing Diagnostics Direct Procurement Operations activities ensuring alignment with Category Management team as well as supplier management responsibilities.
The Opportunity:
As Senior Project Sourcing Manager (d/f/m) your main focus will be ensuring that project delivery aligns to the Business Areas product portfolio strategy, the long-term Category and / or Supplier Strategy, and business stakeholder needs and priorities. As Senior Project Sourcing Manager (d/f/m) you will be accountable for delivering procurement deliverables on assigned projects and agreed targets and goals to ensure product development milestones are achieved and material cost, delivery, and quality targets are realized while in compliance with relevant policies,
standards, guidelines, and operating procedures.
You are responsible for ensuring the successful execution and completion of procurement deliverables on manufacturing capacity extension projects while leveraging category and supplier strategies.
You are ensuring the delivery of assigned relevant strategic projects and targets in line with the respective product portfolio strategy, product development roadmap and annual pipeline of initiatives within Direct Procurement.
You will be responsible for the delivery of procurement activities for assigned projects and agreed targets and objectives to ensure product development milestones are achieved.
You are monitoring project progress, keeping track of the schedule and deriving risks and risk mitigation strategies accordingly
You are ensuring smooth project delivery and efficient handover to the delivery procurement sourcing manager.
You are creating and executing good project plans in collaboration with Business Project Leaders / Project Managers to fulfill project requirements.
Who you are:
You hold a university degree, with Business or Life Sciences/Chemical degree preferable
You bring with 6+ years procurement or supply chain experience (5-7 years in case of a master’s degree) delivering measurable value in strategic sourcing, enterprise cost reduction, and/or operational efficiency projects
You are well known for your strong background in strategic sourcing and supplier management in manufacturing capacity extension projects within a highly regulated industry.
You are characterized by a strong capability extension project within a highly regulated industry.
You are characterized by a strong capability in negotiation, conflict resolution and stakeholder management.
You are familiar with some / all of the major direct spend categories and potential cost levers or market fundamentals.
You are characterized by a deep knowledge of project management, product development process, and effective delivery of project needs (including risk management, project reporting, and delivering quantitative and qualitative results in complex environments).
Preferred:
You bring with strong experience in upwards communication and senior stakeholder management skills supported by good interpersonal competencies (communication, influencing)
You are a proven expert in MS Project and other business systems
You are knowledgeable in procurement specific systems and processes for the efficient management of sourcing events and contract negotiations (e.g., eSourcing, eAuction)
Pay Rate & Benefits:
This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $64.30 - $85.74 /Hour on W2.
