  • CDx BioSample Coordinator
  • Location: Tucson (Oro Valley) Onsite Position
  • Shift: 1st
  • Schedule: 6:00 AM to 3 PM and/or 8:00AM to 5:00PM Overtime required (flexibility required) Saturdays Adhoc
  • Pay: $30 / Hour on W2.

 

JOB SUMMARY

  • Performs sample accessioning in CDx CAP/CLIA Laboratory. Follows standard procedures in performing the tasks, knowledgeable with CAP, CLIA and other accrediting and regulatory agency requirements in laboratory practice and utilizes good documentation practices and following laboratory safety policies. Leads one or more process improvement workstreams within the BioSample Management Group as assigned.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Receives and opens sample shipments and performs triaging of samples to respective testing locations.
  • Performs accessioning of samples and quality control of demographic data input. Communicates with clients on held and rejected samples.
  • Performs labeling of samples and quality control check of labeling.
  • Performs imaging of stained slides returned from Pathology, ensuring all deliverables are met within the required timeline.
  • Coordinates the execution of all internal and client requests, including global shipments of sample while maintaining accurate chain of custody.
  • Manages team email by ensuring all requests have been completed.
  • Leads and ensures deliverables are met for one or more process improvement workstreams within the BioSample Management Group as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Formal Training/Education:

  • H.S. Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience. - REQUIRED

 

Experience

  • 4 years of related experience - REQUIRED

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong understanding and knowledge of good laboratory practices and regulatory compliance. - PREFERRED
  • Ability to work with relevant computer software packages, including spreadsheets and word-processing packages (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word), is essential. - PREFERRED
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - PREFERRED
  • Ability to work under time pressure while maintaining high standards of precision and data quality. - PREFERRED

Pay Rate & Benefits:

  • This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $22.50 - $30.00/hour on W2.
  • Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K.
QUALIFICATION/ LICENSURE :
  • Work Authorization : Green Card, US Citizen
  • Preferred years of experience : 4+ Years
  • Travel Required : 25% or less
  • Shift timings: 9 AM to 5 PM
